About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to cover a maternity leave. In this role, you act as the central point of contact for all accounting activities across several entities, including VacanceSelect travel, Roan, ECG operational entities and Eurocamp (NL/DE). You work closely with our Group Finance team in Aix-en-Provence and support the local Northern Europe accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Approve invoices as budget holder.

• Approve all outgoing payments 

• Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly closing.

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for Group Finance.

• Support the quarterly consolidation process (April and July).

• Manage and submit multiple VAT declarations.

• Provide financial advice to management and operational teams.

• Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP.

• Maintain close cooperation with the finance team, and alignment with the group.

• Hold regular team meetings to discuss operational matters and provide guidance.

Profile & Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.

• Experience with monthly closings, reporting and VAT compliance.

• HBO+ level in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or similar.

• Analytical, structured, communicative and confident in advising stakeholders.

• Experience in leisure or hospitality is considered a plus.

• Audit background is beneficial.
